RSR approached us to help transform their very first retail outlet, and we were absolutely thrilled by the opportunity to revamp the space for them. Initially a salon, the space required a complete overhaul to meet the diverse needs of this emerging designer.We were excited to take on the challenge and reimagine the environment to reflect RSR’s unique vision, ensuring the design was not only functional but also a true representation of her brand’s essence. RSR’s signature styles speak power, confidence, structure and boldness,while still being luxe, welcoming and unique.

 

 

The vision behind RSR’s 950 sqft studio space goes beyond design; it’s about creating an experience for the clients and allowing them to embrace its boldness. Thus, our challenge lay in creating an environment that is subtle and meditative, yet expressive and bold.Arches, as a signature element, are woven throughout the space, symbolising the harmony between structure and fluidity. These shapes mirror RSR’s commitment to flow and balance, creating a serene yet inspiring atmosphere inside.

The warm welcoming entry with a display area, gives a glimpse of RSR’s designs and a louvered archway guides you further in the direction of the store.The use of white resin not only helped with a beautiful reflection of RSR’s colour, but also with time that was of the utmost importance. The space as you enter is divided into two parts with the help of catenary arches, one which serves as the entry and more western take on RSR’s clothing and other which was more Indian. The entrance is the first thing you see when enter with a golden RSR shining in the subtle backdrop. This section also features a thoughtfully designed curved seating arrangement, allowing you to take in the entire store and collection without having to face a one single direction.

 

 

Custom designed white ash wood  look-book table was designed that served as a strong bold take on her western apparels while still letting clothing do all the talking.  Above the seating we created a dreamy cluster of paper chandeliers that float like clouds, creating a sense of fluidity. Two out of four arches that divide the western from Indian also serve as display for all the beautiful pieces of styling collected by the designer herself. The arched opening attract you to move on to the next half of the space with completely different genre of clothes.

 

 

The Indian display area includes a table and four puff's designed for comfortable discussions, this clever design decision ensures clothes are always seen at eye level. This section uses louvers as a primary design language, enhancing the airy, open feel. The changing room is thoughtfully positioned in front of the discussion table. Podium placed inside the changing room helps in experiencing and embracing feminine beauty that the brand aims at creating with a mirror at back for fit check.The space is predominantly white, chosen to let the bold, vibrant colours of the clothes truly shine.

The simplicity of the backdrop ensures that ‘fashion takes centre stage’. No circles, no infinite loops – just clean lines that support the striking patterns and hues that define RSR. Ample natural light fills the space, creating an open, airy feel that enhances the entire experience. Vertical sleek gold elements are used to break the monotony while expressing elegance and luxury.At RSR, every detail is a step towards a peaceful yet bold statement, where fashion speaks loudly, and you listen with your heart. The studio design creates and reflects a seamless and effective extension of the brand RSR itself along with ABout designs quite boldness through design.
