Here is a glimpse of
the exhibition inaugurated on 15th January 2025 at the Government Museum and
Art Gallery of Chandigarh in collaboration with A3 Foundation and shall be up
for next 45 days. Rene Tan, the famous Singaporean architect whose firm RT+Q began with an
exhibition of Le Corbusier's buildings created by interns over the years has
now become a legacy. The exhibition with almost 192 models has
travelled to
13 countries till date. Also,
on display are the works of Ar. SD Sharma, who worked closely with the great Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret. Approximately seventy
panels are displayed showing his work spanning six decades,
including those he continues to work on in his private practice to this
day. Chandigarh modernism is the umbrella theme of the exhibition, as Mr SD
Sharma assisted Le Corbusier on the Museum Project.
The conference was followed by a panel discussion with the experts including Ar. Rene Tan, RT+Q Architects Singapore, Shivdutt Sharma, eminent architect and planner, Chandigarh Lillian Tay, Director Veritas Design Group, Malaysia, Brigitte Bouvier, Director, Foundation Le Corbusier, Paris, and Sourabh Gupta, Founder of Studio Archohm, New Delhi.
