Le Petit Nuage, meaning The Little Cloud, is a poetic interpretation of spatial fluidity—an ethereal dance of curves, textures, and hues that seamlessly weave through this 2BHK home for a family of three. Designed to embrace openness, movement, and an effortless flow, every element in this space has been curated to break away from convention, creating an environment where design and daily life exist in harmonious synergy.

From the moment one steps inside, a sense of airiness prevails. The living and dining areas unfold organically, their boundaries softened by sculptural arches and tactile lime-washed walls. A curved dining nook nestles gracefully into the L-shaped wall, punctuated by a round table and two printed chairs that echo the home’s monochromatic yet warm palette—whites, beiges, rusts, and peaches. The play of textures adds depth, while custom wall lighting near the entrance sets a quiet, elegant tone.

The kitchen, once enclosed, has been liberated—its walls dissolved to integrate seamlessly with the living space. A sliding-folding window offers the best of both worlds: a kitchen that can either remain open, fostering connection, or be discreetly enclosed. A breakfast counter positioned behind the sofa serves as a thoughtful nod to the client’s love for watching TV while dining, ensuring functionality meets aesthetic grace. The kitchen itself is a study in contrasts—sleek white cabinetry punctuated by bold black-and-white custom tiles, adding a striking visual rhythm.

The living area is anchored by a white sofa outlined with black piping, a subtle but defining detail that repeats on the dining bench, reinforcing visual continuity. A black coffee table and side table punctuate the neutral tones, while the TV wall, crafted in HTHMR with a custom wave pattern and lime-wash finish, introduces a sense of movement. A serene mandir space, discreetly integrated beside the TV unit, embodies a quiet reverence without disrupting the contemporary aesthetic.

In the daughter’s bedroom, whimsy takes centre stage. The space unfolds like a dreamscape—walls adorned with custom polka dot wallpaper, a playful step-up bed offering both elevation and expansiveness, and an arched cabinet designed to cradle books, soft toys, and cherished treasures. A highlight of the room is the bespoke mirror, encircled by delicately placed half-cut wooden balls, reflecting light and imagination in equal measure. The poles on the bed, topped with custom balls, further enhance the enchanting, almost storybook-like charm of the space.

The master bedroom extends the home's narrative of fluidity and tactility. A wave-like headboard, edged in black, undulates across the back wall, its presence both grounding and dynamic. A custom lime-wash finish accentuates an arched detail behind the bed, echoing the subtle interplay of form and texture seen throughout the home. The study corner, intimate yet practical, is seamlessly integrated, while the TV wall features thoughtfully designed moldings that add depth and sophistication.

At its core, Le Petit Nuage is an embodiment of effortless movement—where every arch, curve, and texture dissolves the rigidity of walls, allowing life to unfold as seamlessly as the spaces themselves. It is a home where design breathes, where openness and intimacy coexist, and where every detail tells a story of warmth, artistry, and poetic restraint.
