Striking the right Balance between Social interaction & Individual workspace

For the existence of a holistic working environment the fulfillment of the following four aspects is needed – learning, collaboration, focus and socializing. Taking these needs as the basis, design for the co-working was developed. Unlike conventional cubicled office spaces, unboxed coworking incorporates a diverse mix of working and recreational spaces. This diversity has been achieved through integrating collaborative zones within close proximity of working clusters. Variety of collaborative zones have been integrated within the office to instigate interactions and networking opportunities.

Legibility and Comfort
The various zones seamlessly conjoin as a holistic space with visual connectivity for better legibility.The open character of the co-working floods the office with natural light. Together with a material palette of natural finishes – wood and bamboo, the space provides with an essence of comfort to the coworkers.

Designed for Social collaboration

Collaborations function best when they occur organically. But the spacial design of unboxed is crafted to maximize instances for informal collaborations.The junctions therefore are designed as informal breakout zones creating constant collision amongst coworkers& enhancing interaction.
Illustrating this essence, the book racks designed around the lobby areas are places for daily dose of discussion and debate.

Individual Space in a social Workspace

Individuals need to focus on their work as well as have definitive identity of their work zone is equally critical. Thus a variety of workspace options have been created for individuals to choose. In addition, combination of enclosed and open working zones are planned to support individuals and organizations of various scales. This flexibility of option befitting the individuals creates a sense of comfort and ownership.
