The home for a couple engaged to be married. It was to mark the beginning of a new life for them, to
echo their varied personalities, and to have their own identities while building a life together. The key
concept was taking sum of the little things which make one’s life– Color, art, books, movies…a little of this, and a little of that…, giving the design a modern eclectic style.

The project started just after the first wave of Covid but kept getting stalled due to the different waves of Covid. The timelines and deliveries were the biggest difficulties we faced during this project.
The compact 3-bedroom apartment space was converted into an open living, dining space with a study
separated by metal and glass sliding shutters which would open to the dining space, along with a
master bedroom with a walk in closet, a small guest room, a kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Like the overall
story - of little things coming together, the material palette was a coming together of varied materials,
textures and colors - cane, black metal, rubbed glass, live edge wood, white mist marble, brass inlay,
fluted wood panels, and terrazzo. The space makes for the idea that a multitude of little elements coming together can make for a beautiful space - a space that is all heart and soul.
We were designing a home for a couple engaged to be married. The home was to mark the beginning of a new life for them, to echo their varied personalities, and to have their own identities while building a life together.
The key concept we took from here was a sum of the little things which make one’s life– Color, art, books, movies…a little of this, and a little of that...
The space was a very compact 3-bedroom apartment with a dark passage and very little light. The windows overlooked a small plot of green, but you couldn’t really see it as the windows were also very small. We converted this space into an open living, dining space with a study separated by metal and glass sliding shutters which would open to the dining space, along with a master bedroom with a walk in closet, a small guest room, a kitchen and 2 bathrooms. The idea was to give individual spaces while being able to connect them seamlessly.
