The home for a couple
engaged to be married. It was to mark the beginning of a new life for them, to
echo their varied personalities, and to have their own identities while
building a life together. The key concept was taking sum of the little things
which make one’s life– Color, art, books, movies…a little of this, and a little
of that…, giving the design a modern eclectic style.

The compact 3-bedroom apartment space was converted into an open living, dining space with a study separated by metal and glass sliding shutters which would open to the dining space, along with a master bedroom with a walk in closet, a small guest room, a kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Like the overall story - of little things coming together, the material palette was a coming together of varied materials, textures and colors - cane, black metal, rubbed glass, live edge wood, white mist marble, brass inlay, fluted wood panels, and terrazzo.
The space makes for the idea that a multitude of little elements coming together can make for a beautiful space - a space that is all heart and soul.
