Transforming over 9,000 square feet of blank canvas into a luxurious penthouse retreat was both an exhilarating opportunity and a formidable challenge for our design team. With a vision to create a warm, welcoming haven that radiates opulence, we embarked on a journey of innovation, meticulous planning, and artistic exploration.

One of the project's central challenges was harmonizing the openness of expansive windows, double-height staircases, and skylights with an inviting, cozy atmosphere. While natural light bathed the interiors, it risked rendering the space cold and impersonal. To counterbalance this, we layered textures, rich materials, and a curated palette of warm tones, infusing the penthouse with personality and charm. The design of 14 bespoke washrooms added another layer of complexity. Each space was thoughtfully crafted to reflect the diverse tastes and lifestyles of the residents, ranging from contemporary, sleek sanctuaries to intricate, traditional designs. This variety showcased the family's individuality while maintaining a cohesive design narrative. In the bedrooms, individuality truly came to life. Spanning generations—from teens to grandparents—each room was tailored with precision to reflect the occupant's preferences and routines. Through careful consultation and attention to detail, we designed personalized retreats that combine functionality with aesthetic appeal. The ultimate triumph lay in preserving the penthouse's airiness while ensuring fluidity and warmth. Through innovative spatial planning, thoughtful layering, and creative use of materials, the space emerged as a seamless blend of light and comfort, openness and intimacy. This penthouse was more than a design project; it was a celebration of creativity and collaboration. The result is a stunning sanctuary that effortlessly balances form and function, individuality & cohesion, and ultimately, transforms a house into a home.
This sleek and contemporary bedroom strikes a perfect balance between bold design and youthful energy. A dramatic palette of black and beige sets the tone, complemented by the plush textures of rich velvet. Subtle gold accents add a touch of sophistication, while black-and-white photographs of iconic basketball players bring a dynamic, personal touch to the space. Ideal for a teenage boy, this room is both stylish and inspiring, reflecting his passion and individuality.

This royal bedroom showcases handcrafted classic furniture with subtle gold profiles, veneer finishes, and bespoke handles, exuding understated luxury. Etched glass shutters in study cabinets add a distinctive charm, while repurposed Botticino marble countertops—a nod to sustainability—seamlessly blend opulence with eco-conscious design. Classic wallpaper tiles, featuring delicately embroidered motifs, infuse the space with an air of opulence and timeless charm. The horizontal grooved tiles lend a subtle texture and warmth, creating a balanced interplay of patterns. Teakwood veneer cabinetry, with its graceful silhouette and impeccable detailing, harmonizes effortlessly, completing the look of a quintessentially English-inspired bathroom.
Double-Height Excellence: Blurring the Lines Between Indoors and Outdoors. Step into a stunning space where boundaries dissolve, seamlessly merging the indoors with the outdoors. Eschewing conventional stone cladding and vinyl panels, this design embraces a fresh, open aesthetic. Sophisticated white moulding shutters and a classic kitchen island with Caesar stone countertops anchor the space, while a vibrant Moroccan-tiled breakfast counter adds a lively pop of color. Subtle veneer panels delicately separate areas without disrupting openness or flow, ensuring functional yet cohesive zones. This design masterfully combines style and practicality, creating a visually striking and effortlessly inviting space.
Beneath a starlit sky, this charming terrace celebrates the homeowner's Kolkata roots with an inviting blend of nostalgia and modern comfort. Rustic patterned tiles set the stage, complemented by cozy seating that exudes the timeless charm of the City of Joy.
Adding a personal touch, bespoke wall art by a Cee Bee Design artist transforms the space into a serene retreat, perfectly balancing heritage and contemporary aesthetics. A sprawling window is reimagined with a classic European-inspired louvre shutter design, seamlessly blending functionality and timeless aesthetics. Elegant wooden panels bring warmth and charm to the space, transforming the window into a striking design feature. As natural light filters through, the outdoors are perfectly framed, creating a harmonious connection between interior and exterior.

The entrance is marked by two magnificent handcrafted wooden pillars in classic Kerala style, adorned with golden metal panels, creating an atmosphere of warmth and grandeur. Inside, a deeply personal element takes center stage—a framed Banarasi sari, once cherished by the homeowner's late mother.
This poignant tribute infuses the space with emotional resonance and a sense of legacy. Complementing this heartfelt display is a striking red rustic-style cabinet, embellished with intricate golden metalwork. The thoughtful combination of traditional craftsmanship and sentimental value makes this entrance both visually captivating and profoundly meaningful.
This space is a harmonious blend of bespoke design and luxurious materials. Veneer panels and yellow-tinted glass structures add warmth and character, while customized shelves cater perfectly to the homeowner's needs. A Corian backlit etching adds a touch of modern artistry, complemented by marble counters featuring intricate golden plate etching by World of Stones.

An elegantly designed indoor lift from Eon is perfectly dimensioned within the second floor of this penthouse. Seamlessly integrated into the space, it ensures effortless movement and accessibility, offering a thoughtful solution for the elderly parents of the homeowners while maintaining the home's luxurious aesthetic.
The customized jhula finds its perfect place on the landing of the first floor, doubling as a cozy family area. Suspended in this sky penthouse, it offers a serene spot to relax and gaze at the breathtaking expanse of the world outside—a blend of comfort, design, and panoramic views.
