SITE SURROUDINGS
THE SITE WAS RECTANGLE BY SHAPE WITH THE LONG SIDE FACING THE INTERNAL ROAD.AND HAD A BUSHY NEEM TREE ADJACENT TO IT.

Entrance_Pergola_ to shade the entrance and to enhance the aesthetics.
Openings_the openings has an essence of our traditional jharukha which acts as the ventilation and also as the sitting.

REQUIREMENTS 
SINCE THE HOUSE WAS TO CATER THE ARCHITECT HIMSELF, THE REQUIREMENTS WERE CLEAR I.E TO HAVEA CONTEMPARARY HOUSE UTILIZING OUR TRADITIONAL APPROACH FOR THE BUILT UP. AND CREATING SPACES THROUGH MINIMUM WALLS.


The house is built with the minimalist approach collaging_the traditional space making (Vastu complaint) with the contemperary asthetics As depicted in the plan the central space which is the Brahmsthan and open to sky divides the space on the Ground Floor. The elements of vernacular architecture are utilized to meet the climatic and the energy requirements.



MATERIALS AND TEXTURES 
The concept of "Minimalist" is taken foward by utilization of two basic elements i.e Wood and Indian Stones. Here the beige color acts as a background against the key elements made with
liberal use of wood and Indian stones.The focus was to keep simple building elements and add color through the elements i.e the sofa, cushions ,upholstery etc.

Connecting Floors_he two floors have been designed keeping the attribute of connection through the central skylight space by the Glass bridge.
Foyer_Brahmasthan_Skylight the carved wooden jalis with the indoor drygarden which divides and enlighten the entire Ground Floor into formal family sitting with dinning ,kitchen and giving
necessary privacy to bedroom and toilet.
